Dave Page Cobbler is highly overrated. I've sent two different pair of hiking boots in to him for Vibram® resole. Both failed shortly after I received them back. Dave Page is rude, arrogant, and quite condescending to be sure. At one time he might have been the master cobbler that he purports. But over the years he probably got too busy, hired inexperienced help, and became detached from the actual craft of cobbling. Which might explain his ugly attitude and lack of attention to detail. I've seen it happen too many times. When a man takes on more than he can handle - his work suffers.
Be careful out there.
